Virgin media signs a new 3-year deal with iCONX to use its industry-leading Routing & Trading software

iCONX are delighted to announce that Virgin Media has chosen the iCONX Routing and Trading software and services, to complement the existing iCONX software in use by Virgin Media. iCONX Routing and Trading will enable Virgin Media to automate its growing trading management operations and provide essential data insights to its wholesale team.

Virgin Media Ireland is the largest national digital cable provider, and offers broadband internet, digital television and telephony services to its Irish customer base. iCONX has been working closely with the Virgin Media team for 15 years+ to provide interconnect billing capability for its fixed and mobile voice traffic, and this continues to deliver value to its wholesale business.


Virgin Media will extend the existing managed services provided by the iCONX team of experts – to perform system maintenance, performance monitoring and manage the routing agreement and network updates that are necessary for the routing and trading operations. In addition, the iCONX Routing and Trading software will provide access to key report data that is essential for management of its wholesale business.
