Liberty Global IVU (International Voice Unit) is latest customer for iCONX Routing Optimisation and Interconnect Billing.

Specialist wholesale billing and settlement solutions vendor iCONX solutions has announced that Liberty Global is the latest customer to enter live use with its Routing Optimisation and Interconnect Billing solution.

Liberty Global selected and implemented the iCONX solution to support its recently launched International Voice Unit (IVU) operation based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The IVU provides a centralised service to all Liberty Global owned affiliates, including all of its European Liberty Global country operations, for the optimisation and management of group-wide international voice traffic.

The deal provides Liberty Global with an end-to-end, fully integrated billing and routing solution, which includes full support for international voice trading activities including the optimal management of bilateral agreements and hubbing traffic, pricelist and invoice generation and tailored real-time and periodical reporting.

In delivering both routing and billing systems as a single installation, iCONX provides a seamless workflow from traffic import, processing and rating, through to routing plan and eventual upload to the switch. This equips the IVU with responsive support tools that enable rapid, accurate business and technical decision-making across the entire spectrum of operations, supported by real-time reporting insights.

iCONX will also provide Liberty Global with a custom suite of ongoing managed services to support the IVU operations, delivered by its asp support team based in Dublin, Ireland.
