i-conX Outsourced is a revolutionary web-based concept : we host the i-conX system for you at a data centre, and provide you with secure user access over the internet. You can choose to operate the system entirely yourself, or only operate some of it, or indeed we can do everything for you.
Since 2001 i-conX has pioneered the bureau / outsourced concept to provide an accessible delivery model to all telcos at all tiers – without compromising functionality or version-control in any way.
Each i-conX Outsourced customer benefits from the same up-to-the minute functionality as the Insourced customers, and each also benefits equally from our upgrade and improvement roadmap.
Both models remove the need for customers to worry about provisioning hardware to (a) run the system, and (b) store, archive and retrieve EDR data.
The Outsourced option is frequently the delivery model of choice for telcos in start-up mode, those undergoing rapid but unpredictable growth, those which may find it hard to recruit skilled / experienced interconnect billing users, and indeed any telco keen to scale its financial investment against a scaleable Opex model in place of a single Capex commitment.
Circumstances change; and so it is entirely possible for i-conX customers to move from one model to the other at any time.
