We are delighted to welcome MARTIN BROWNE to the i-conX team, as our newly appointed Chief Executive Officer.

Labelled in the business as the ‘Inventor of Interconnect’ thanks to his work on BT’s award-winning INCA accounting system, Martin has established a unique pedigree in the industry.

Over 15 years in the Interconnect billing business he has accumulated a wealth of experience and knowledge along with numerous professional accolades including Billing Magazine’s ‘Outstanding Achievement in Billing’ award in 2001.

At i-conX, we are thrilled to have him on board and excited about the prospects he brings with him. Martin is also confident about the potential ahead of the company:
“I see i-conX as the iPod of interconnect: modern, elegant and intuitive. Other interconnect vendors are still selling the equivalent of the cassette Walkman or the portable CD player, they do the job but you wouldn’t want to admit to owning one.

“And because the solutions are fully flexible, updates or technological advances can be implemented immediately to ensure they remain proven market-leaders.”

With such impressive successes throughout his career, Martin is well placed to advise on the right direction for i-conX to follow. After his achievements at BT, he joined Texas Instruments Software to head up their interconnect business unit before co-founding Intec Telecom Systems and helping to take them to a successful flotation.

Most recently he has worked on interconnect product and business development with Telesens and Azure Solutions.

Stressing the importance of focus, Martin believes i-conX have what it takes to succeed: “i-conX is a dedicated interconnect company not a company where interconnect billing is lost in a portfolio of disparate products.”

His excellence in providing interconnect consultancy and implementation services across the world is recognised throughout the industry and we are excited about the prospects he brings by joining us at i-conX solutions.
