Paltel Group signs with i-conX for Billing and LCR
i-conX, the world’s fastest-growing interconnect billing specialist, announced that it has signed a contract with Palestine incumbent Paltel and its mobile division Jawwal, during the recent UAE Trade Mission hosted by the Irish Tanaiste (Deputy Prime Minister) and Minister for Trade, Enterprise and Employment, Mary Coughlan T.D
On behalf of the Paltel group, General Manager Mr. Mohannad Heajawi unveiled the contract which will provide Paltel and Jawwal with a fully integrated interconnect billing and least cost routing solution.
Deployment of the solution is currently being undertaken on site by the i-conX team in Palestine, at locations Ramallah and Nablus.
Speaking for Paltel, Mr. Heajawi commented : “The contract, the first such in Palestine, will give Paltel the flexibility needed to follow up agreements with our telecoms partners and achieve accurate on-time settlements with them”.
“The i-conX solution also allows Paltel to optimise its routing plan via Least Cost Routing functionality, delivering improved cost control to management”.
Mr. Heajawi continued, “Improved least cost routing enhances relations with our existing partners, as well as providing a confident platform for Paltel to develop new partner relationships, both national and worldwide, resulting in an improved variety of services to our valued end users”.
