i-conX has been unveiled as sponsor for the forthcoming Barcelona conference, “Interconnection and Wholesale”, to be held in Barcelona 24th-26th October 2006.
The conference will examine how operators can overcome the challenges inherent to NGN’s and the question of fixed-mobile convergence, to allow operators to exploit revenue generation opportunities fully.
i-conX CEO MARTIN BROWNE will be a key speaker at the event, which attracts operators from both east/west Europe, Africa, Asia and the US. As well as mobile and fixed operators the event is this year anticipated to attract many MVNO’s reviewing the best way to approach interconnection in the future.
Martin is appearing as part of a panel debate considering the shape interconnect pricing/billing methodologies need to take to ensure best revenue generation in NGN’s.
He will also address the conference on day 2, with a speech entitled “Helping the bottom line : How a new approach to interconnect billing solutions can deliver on growth”.
