Manchester Move

Last month saw the official opening of i-conX’s new UK office in Manchester, and it is being viewed as a major step in plans to attack the UK telecoms billing market.

The new offices, located in the North-West of England, will be home to six new staff, recruited to work in IT, client handling and marketing.

i-conX COO, Brendan Rogan, is originally from Manchester and is delighted to be back in the city:
“Having made our mark in Dublin and Ireland, the logical progression for us was always to set up an office on the UK mainland. We needed somewhere with excellent transport links to and from the rest of Europe and also a city that our clients would enjoy visiting. Manchester fit the bill.”

With the telecoms billing market now worth over £16.5bn globally, and predicted growth by a further 4% this year. i-conX expect their move to Manchester will help the company increase its share in the £830m UK market by 26% by the end of year 2007.

Francis Donnelly, i-conX CFO, has big plans for the new office:
“Manchester will be used mainly for marketing and client relations purposes, with the technical side remaining in our Dublin headquarters.”
