Demand was heavy for live product demonstrations as i-conX once again returned to support “Capacity MENA”, the key international and wholesale networking conference in the MENA region.

The event – “Capacity MENA 2007” – was held at Crowne Plaza, Dubai, and repoted >50% delegate increase together with a specially lengthened speaker programme.

A high-ranking gathering of delegates was treated to some fine and informative panels and presentations, with the focus on the international carrier and wholesale sectors of the market.

This year, the concept of outsourcing proved to be a dominant theme, and once again lead event sponsor was UAE second operator du, themselves a customer for the i-conX outsourced interconnect billing service since 2006.

Within the networking area, the i-conX exhibition team was busy hosting demonstrations for interested operators and international carriers from across the region, backed by a strong team featuring VP Marketing Gavin Stewart, Senior Customer Relations Manager Sue-Sharyn Ward, and Customer Relations Manager Michelle Dervan.

“Once again, i-conX had a very good show at Capacity MENA”, commented VP Marketing Gavin Stewart. “As with last year, and despite the extension of the event to a third day, demand for demonstrations of our system outran the event schedule”.
