Into AsiaPac with Kompakar
We are proud to have significantly strengthened our growing AsiaPac presence via our new strategic alliance with Kompakar Inc. of Malaysia, whom we unveiled as our latest Gold status Official Partner in August 2005.
Under the terms of the alliance, Kompakar enjoy exclusive rights to provide i-conX interconnect solutions to content providers, NGN and MVNO operators across AsiaPac.
Established in 1988 Kompakar Inc. has expanded its base to seven locations including Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Australia, Thailand, Indonesia and India, enjoying 2004 turnover of AU$50 million (euro31m).
We thought long and hard about the correct profile of business to join forces with, and I am pleased to say that in Kompakar I think we have the perfect partner. Both parties are set to benefit from, we believe, a class-leading proposition unmatched in AsiaPac:
